Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Welcome to DETERMINASI: Jurnal Penelitian Ekonomi Manajemen dan Akuntansi. We appreciate your interest in submitting your manuscript to our journal. This guide provides detailed instructions for authors to ensure the quality and consistency of submitted manuscripts. Please read and follow these guidelines carefully before submitting your work.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review by any other journal.

  • Submissions can be written in English or Indonesian using clear academic language.

  • Authors are responsible for the content, including proper citations and ethical compliance.

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system on the journal's website.

2. Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Length: 10–20 pages (including tables, figures, and references)

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 10 pt

  • Spacing: 1.0 line spacing

3. Manuscript Structure

  1. Title (concise and informative, Left, Bold, Times New Roman 16, max 10 word in English/Indonesia)

  2. Author Information (name, institution/affiliation, addres, telp/fax ofinstitution/affiliation, email)

  3. Abstract (150–250 words in English and/or Indonesian, Times New Roman 10, spasi 1, spacing 12 pt, after 2 pt)

  4. Keywords (3 to 5 relevant keywords, separated by semicolons)

  5. Introduction

    • Research background and context

    • Statement of the problem

    • Research objectives and/or questions

    • Contribution and novelty of the study

  6. Literature Review

    • Theoretical background relevant to the study

    • Review of recent and relevant studies (state-of-the-art)

    • Identification of research gaps

    • The conceptual framework or hypotheses development (if applicable)

  7. Research Methodology

    • Type and approach of research (qualitative, quantitative, mixed)

    • Data collection techniques (e.g., survey, interviews, secondary data)

    • Sampling method and population

    • Instruments used

    • Data analysis techniques (e.g., regression, thematic analysis)

  8. Results and Discussion

    • Presentation of main findings with supporting tables and figures

    • Interpretation and comparison with previous studies

    • Theoretical and practical implications

    • Discussion should be critical, analytical, and contextual

  9. Conclusion and Suggestions

    • Summary of key findings

    • Implications (theoretical, managerial, or policy-related)

  10. References

    • Use APA 7th edition reference style.

    • References must be primary sources (journal articles, books, theses) and up-to-date (preferably from the last 10 years).

4. References

  • Minimum 80% of references must be from journal articles published in the last 10 years.

  • Use APA Style (7th edition) for in-text citations and references.

  • It is strongly recommended to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered and given descriptive titles.

  • Place each table/figure near the first mention in the text.

  • Use high-resolution images if needed.

6. Plagiarism and Similarity

  • All manuscripts will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software.

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.

  • Plagiarized submissions will be automatically rejected.

7. Review Process

  • Manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review.

  • The editorial team may return manuscripts for revision before proceeding to review.

  • Authors will be notified of decisions (accept, revise, reject) along with reviewers’ comments.
