Potensi Jahe (Zingiber Officinale) sebagai Herbal Qur’ani: Tinjauan Farmakologis Berdasarkan Studi Klinis

Abstract

Jahe (Zingiber officinale) adalah salah satu tanaman yang disebutkan dalam Al-Qur’an di QS. Al-Insan ayat 17 sebagai salah satu campuran minuman yang diberikan pada penghuni surga. Selain itu, jahe telah digunakan sebagai obat tradisional dan berbagai penelitian menunjukkan potensinya untuk kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative review terhadap 15 artikel uji klinis yang terpublikasi dari tahun 2019-2025 diperoleh dari basis data ScienceDirect, PubMed, Wiley dan Google Scholar. Dari artikel yang berhasil dikumpulkan, jahe efektif dalam mengurangi mual, muntah, nyeri pasca operasi, nyeri sendi, memperbaiki profil glukosa dan lipid darah pada pasien diabetes dan obesitas serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dispepsia, rinitis alergi dan hipotiroidisme. Jahe merupakan herbal Qur’ani yang berpotensi memiliki manfaat dalam kesehatan dan dari pendekatan ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai religius dapat beriringan dengan evidence-based medicine dalam pengembangan terapi berbasis bahan alam. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan ilmiah dan nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam kajian tanaman herbal.
